Computational methods enhance geometric analysis accuracy and speed in visual data, suggesting potential improvements for tsunami assessment.
A computational method of geometric analysis of images is presented based on the use of shearlet transformation algorithms of visual data which made it possible to solve basic problems of geometric analysis with increased accuracy and speed. The use of algorithmic and methodological support for processing and analyzing visual data based on shearlet transform and color coding algorithms in combination with a contrasting procedure has significantly improved the results of the quantitative description of the manifestations of flood waves in the tsunami problem.
