In recent years, with the advancement of social civilization, the international community’s understanding of disability has shifted from the medically-oriented “disability” to the “impairment” concept based on human-environment interaction, and policies have accordingly turned to the goal of achieving social integration for persons with disabilities. This paper focuses on extracting the distinctive models and concepts of disability social policies in the United States, the United Kingdom,and Japan, analyzes China’s concepts regarding persons with disabilities and its social policies, and puts forward reflections on constructing a dynamic model of China’s disability social policy from the perspective of social integration.
