Decentralized scheme improves revocation and accountability in P2P networks, suggesting enhanced security and efficiency.
Abstract Ciphertext-policy attribute-based encryption (CP-ABE) provides fine-grained access control for Peer-to-Peer Network(P2P Network), but existing schemes suffer from centralized inefficiency, high overhead for dynamic revocation and poor integration between accountability and revocation mechanisms. This paper proposes a decentralized multi-authority CP-ABE scheme that integrates threshold-based key distribution, versioned attribute revocation, and identity-bound key verification, enabling efficient synergy between revocation and accountability while ensuring collusion resistance and forward security. Formal analysis proves IND-CPA security under the random oracle model, with experiments demonstrating comparable encryption/decryption efficiency to state-of-the-art solutions despite supporting dual functionalities, offering a more practical access control solution for P2P networks.
