Ecofriendly products including neem leaf extract @5%, neem seed kernel extract @5%, custard apple leaf extract @5%, garlic bulb extract @5%, datura leaf extract @5%, aak leaf extract @5%, and green chilli extract @5% are safe to natural enemies and other beneficial organisms. In the current study, we have tested the efficacy of various ecofriendly products, such as, neem leaf extract @5%, neem seed kernel extract @5%, custard apple leaf extract @5%, garlic bulb extract @5%, datura leaf extract @5%, aak leaf extract @5%, and green chilli extract @5% against whitefly, Bemisia tabaci and Yellow Mosaic Disease (YMD) in mung bean, Vigna radiata at the Soil and Water Management Research Unit farm, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari, Gujarat, India during Summer 2021-22. All the tested eco-friendly products significantly reduced the population of B. tabaci and the per cent disease incidence (PDI) of YMD. Notably, the neem seed kernel extract at 5% demonstrated the highest efficacy in controlling B. tabaci population (3.93/trifoliate leaves) and YMD incidence (18.65% PDI). Conversely, the aak leaf extract at 5% was the least effective in controlling the B. tabaci (7.69/trifoliate leaves) and YMD (29.81% PDI). The neem seed kernel extract at 5% can be recommended for reducing the incidence of B. tabaci and YMD in V. radiata.
