This analysis reveals the effect of magnetic field and chemical reactions on Oldroyd-B nanofluid flow, suggesting insights into thermal and mass transfer rates.
Objectives: To investigate the combined effects of thermal diffusion and diffusion thermo on two-dimensional, steady, incompressible, viscous, electrically conducting, chemically reacting Oldroyd-B + nanofluid flow through a porous medium near a stretching sheet under the influence of a magnetic field. Method: We convert the main governing equations, which are a set of nonlinear partial differential equations, into sets of nonlinear ordinary differentials representing the motion, energy, and concentration of nanofluids as well as the boundary conditions via similarity transformations. The implicit finite element method is utilized to solve these equations numerically. Findings: The main findings are the heat transfer rate is rising with growing values of Nb, Nt, Du, while it reducing for increasing values of Pr and Le also the mass transfer rate is growing with higher values of Nt, and Sr, and the reverse effects is observed in case of increasing values of Le, Nb and 𝛿. Novelty: Investigating the significance of MHD Oldroyd-B + nanofluid flow past a stretched sheet through a porous media with chemical reaction is the novel aspect of this work. The effects of thermophoresis and Brownian motion are two essential elements as well as the effects of magnetic fields, Soret, and Dufour are taken into account.
