Analysis of fault detection efficiency in T–S fuzzy systems under random multiaccess protocol, highlighting challenges with missing measurements.
This paper concerns the issue of fault detection (FD) for the Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy systems (TSFSs) subject to multiple missing measurements and time‐varying delays. Specifically, owing to limited communication capacity, the random multiaccess protocol (RMP) is selected to arrange multiple sensor nodes to deliver data at each instant. The phenomenon of inconsistent measurement signals between the system and the filter is handled by utilizing asynchronous fuzzy rules. Subsequently, a fault detection filter (FDF) based on the T–S fuzzy model is constructed to generate residual signal, and an FD system is established. Considering time‐varying delays, multiple missing measurements, and RMP, simultaneously, sufficient conditions are obtained to ensure that the FD system is stochastically stable with the given performance by employing the Lyapunov stability theory. Furthermore, the gains of the FDF are obtained by linear matrix inequality (LMI) calculation method. Eventually, two numerical examples are presented to certify the effectiveness of the proposed FD strategy.
