Experimental analysis shows that fly ash improves mechanical and operational properties of concrete, suggesting its potential in eco-friendly construction.
The article presents the results of a comprehensive study of the effect of a mineral additive based on fly ash on the physical, mechanical, and operational properties of concrete. Experimental tests of concrete samples with various additive contents (0, 5, 10 and 15% by weight of cement) were carried out. The compressive strength, density, water absorption, and frost resistance of cement stone are evaluated. It has been established that the optimal dosage of fly ash is 10%, at which the maximum improvement in the performance characteristics of concrete is observed. The results of the study confirm the prospects of using fly ash as an effective mineral additive that helps improve the quality of building materials and solve environmental problems.
