This research examines how diffusion indicators influence composite structure with polystyrene foam, highlighting adhesive interactions.
This article discusses the issues related to the formation of the structure of composite materials based on a combined organic filler and waste-modified polystyrene foam. The process of diffusion interaction in the formation of the composite's macrostructure due to the influence of the adhesive component on the surface of polystyrene granules is considered. The nature of the effect of modifying polystyrene foam granules on ensuring a dense structure of the material has been established. The introduction of modified polystyrene foam granules causes the matrix of the composite to become more ordered by forming a complex structure-forming system that acts as a framework. The modified granules have high adhesion to the lignin-containing polycomponent filler and at the same time act as centers for the formation of macro-clusters, which has allowed us to develop the optimal formulation and technological parameters for obtaining a new composite material.
