Experimental analysis shows improved yield in soybean using organomineral and rock powder treatments, indicating potential for sustainable agriculture.
Soybean yield is influenced by genetic and environmental factors, as well as complex interactions, particularly soil and climate characteristics. Chemical fertilizers are used to meet the high demand for nutrients, but dependence on imports and the environmental impact are concerns. Sustainable alternatives, such as soil remineralizers and organomineral fertilizers, have been adopted to improve nutritional efficiency and sustainability. Based on this, the present study consisted of evaluating the yield and phytotechnical aspects of soybean crops, such as height of the first node, height of the first pod, number of pods per plant, number of branches per plant, plant height, stem diameter and number of aborted pods per plant, based on treatments containing rock powder and organomineral fertilizer. The experimental design was randomized blocks (RBD), with seven treatments, including the control treatment, and four replications, as follows: T1: Control; T2: Organomineral dose 16 kg; T3: Organomineral dose 2x (32 kg); T4: Organomineral dose 3x (48 kg); T5: Rock powder dose 16 kg; T6: Rock powder dose 2x (32 kg); and T7: Rock powder 3x (48 kg). All treatments were applied at the V3 stage of soybean, in coverage. There were significant diferences in the number of pods per plant, number of branches per plant, plant height, stem diameter and yield, depending on the treatment performed. No statistical diferences were observed for the height of the first node, height of the first pod and number of aborted pods per plant. The most prominent treatment was T3 and T4, containing organomineral doses 2x (32 kg) and 3x (48 kg), respectively, improving the yield of the soybean crop.
