The Bait Bajambar dance work is an interpretation of the process of Momaken Jambar in the event of rejecting reinforcements in Koto Sawah, Kenagarian Pintu Padang, Mapattunggul, Pasaman. This rejects the reinforcements is a tradition carried out by the local community every year. The focus of the problem worked on is about togetherness and solidarity in the procession of Momaken Jambar which is contained in the ritual of rejecting bala. This work is worked on with a social theme and pure type, which is supported by 6 dancers, 3 male dancers and 3 female dancers. The movements presented in this themed choreography interpret the togetherness activities in the Jambar momaken event. This work uses the method of creation, namely research, the basic concept of creation, the tools for realizing the work, studio work: that is, exploration, improvisation, formation, evaluation. Music is the spirit in the bajambar bait dance work, in this dance work uses live music that is played directly by musicians using musical instruments such as: saluang, bansi, sarunai, sleigh bell, tomtom, snare drum and vocal which are worked on by the composer in accordance with the concept of the work. This work uses a modified baju kurung costume from baju kurung basiba combined with pants in the form of a culotte skirt, also using a batik belt that is harmonized with a headband. The performance of bajambar temple works is strengthened by lighting and properties in the form of plates, trays, kankak (large cauldrons) and properties in the form of goat heads, while the setting is also used as property.
