Data reveals elongation ratio affects seamless pipes' wall thickness during deformation, indicating high deformation degrees impair accuracy.
Investigation data of the effect of the elongation ratio on accuracy of produced pipes during the piercing in a two-roll screw rolling mill with a cup-shape scheme of roll arrangement and guide bars is presented. It has been found out that high deformation degrees and intermediate heating negatively effect on nonuniform pipe wall thickness.
