This investigation demonstrates the impact of flux composition and melt temperature on adhesion strength in soldered titanium structures.
Studies of the wetting and spreading processes of aluminum doped with silicon on titanium under conditions of the formation of soldered titanium joints have been carried out. The effect of flux composition, melt temperature and the degree of alloying the solder on the strength of the soldered joint and the chemical composition of the transition layer was established.
