Empirical analysis reveals restrictive measures disrupt digital service trade, affecting market access and technological innovation.
This article takes OECD countries as an example to explore the impact of restrictive measures on digital service trade on service industry productivity. Research has found that restrictive measures significantly affect the efficiency of the service industry by influencing market access, competition patterns, technology diffusion, resource allocation, and economies of scale. The experience of OECD countries shows that open policies can enhance technological innovation and resource optimization, promote productivity growth in the service industry, while strict restrictions can suppress cross-border innovation and efficiency improvement while ensuring data security and industrial protection. The article reveals the complex relationship between digital service trade policies and service industry productivity through theoretical analysis and empirical comparison, providing reference for policy formulation.
