Assessment innovation improves learning outcomes in high school physics, suggesting e-portfolios enhance student engagement.
Our country's education sector is undergoing fundamental and comprehensive transformation, with numerous opportunities and challenges. Assessment innovation is a source of concern. Academic records are an effective tool for assessing and demonstrating student progress toward meeting the new general education curriculum requirements. The advancement of information technology and the popularity of the internet have resulted in the widespread use of e-portfolio, which offer numerous advantages. We conduct an evaluation of the teaching process based on the development of a teaching plan with the assistance of e-portfolios in teaching the chapter "Eyes. Optical Instruments" in Physics 11. The results of pedagogical experiments were analyzed using the following methods: assessment through lesson observation and teacher interviews, evaluation through research on learning products, and evaluation through tests. The parameters have confirmed that teaching with e-portfolios helps high school students improve their capacity.
