Operational experience shows that flowlines enhance oil and gas production in Brownfield projects, indicating strategic improvements.
This paper presents operational experience with Subsea Multiphase Flow Meters (MPFMs) and outlines current perspective on the application of this technology in future Oil and Gas developments in Brazil. The discussion highlights its strategic relevance, particularly in the context of Brownfield Projects. In this framework, a Revitalization Project refers to the deployment of a new production platform in a mature field, aiming to extend its productive life. Complementary Projects, on the other hand, involve the installation of additional infrastructure, such as Subsea Systems, wells, and flowlines, to connect new wells to an existing production unit. Both Revitalization and Complementary Projects are classified as Brownfield developments, given that they are implemented in areas with pre-existing production infrastructure.
