Comparative studies reveal design innovations and energy efficiency in a smart building for a museum.
A Smart Building is a building that can facilitate humans and its users. Theapplication of Smart Building in buildings is not only about inserting sophisticatedmachines and computers into a building, but also how the system is designed as awhole in the building. In the design of the Batik Museum building, the use ofmodern tools and Information Systems aims to develop the Museum and alsosupport the energy efficiency movement. The flow of human circulation is regulatedusing automatic doors and communicative symbols that can be quickly changed asneeded. The research methods in this design are comparative studies and literacystudies. Direct observation of buildings that have already used Smart Buildingtheory aims to provide consideration in determining what can be applied to thedesign of this Batik Museum
