Purpose. To analyse methodological and practical approaches to land management and land quality assessment in order to improve the system of land resource management under the conditions of sustainable development. Methodology. The study applies general scientific methods, including analysis, synthesis, systematization, and comparative methods. It also involves an analysis of the current state of agrochemical certification of land, structural-logical modelling of land quality based on an integrated soil quality indicator, and systematization of soil monitoring data. Findings. A structural-logical scheme for land quality modelling is proposed, enabling the assessment of changes in indicators over time, forecasting future land conditions, and forming scientifically grounded management decisions for their optimal use. Practical recommendations for optimizing land resource utilization are formulated, aiming to prevent soil degradation, enhance ecological resilience, and preserve natural potential. Originality. The need to integrate environmental, economic and social aspects into land resources management processes is substantiated, and a model for assessing land quality based on a generalized soil indicator is proposed. Practical value. The study results in the development of recommendations for optimizing land resource management by combining land management tools with land quality assessment. This approach ensures the long-term use of land, enhances agricultural productivity, and preserves the ecosystem functions of soils.
