Practical application reveals that effective resource allocation in project management enhances timely task completion in house construction.
Project resource management includes the processes that organize and manage the project team. The project team consists of people who have specific roles and responsibilities for completing the project, as well as the quality of equipment and materials used in the project. Team members should be heavily involved in the planning and decision-making processes of the project. Early involvement of team members adds experience during the planning process and enhances commitment to the project. Typically, the number and types of project team members change as the project progresses, and they can be referred to as project staff. One of the efficient and modern means of achieving speed and quality in project completion is the application of a dedicated electronic project management system, such as the MS Project application of the American company Microsoft. This electronic application is considered an important modern means of project management, as it is used to make decisions and implement tasks on time. It calculates the cost of each task and thus the cost of the project by calculating the costs for each resource in any task. This application helps in dividing the project into tasks and optimally allocating resources to these tasks, in addition to calculating the cost of human resources and materials used. In this context, the research reviews an example of a house building project, where the types of resources that can be used in the project are identified, how to divide the project into tasks and optimally distribute resources to these tasks, in addition to calculating the cost of human resources and materials used.
