Analysis reveals links between blood type and personality traits in South Korean society, highlighting pseudoscience implications.
Many hypotheses regarding personality types are thought to have existed since the Middle Ages and have an influence on any modern community. It is not a stretch to argue that everyone is prone to introspection, given the multiple influences that directly influence human consciousness. Whatever a person’s passion, whether it comes from a need to be understood or a search for one’s place in the world, it will always enthrall them on a subconscious spiritual level. It follows that in the West, there is a propensity to use astrology, the zodiac system, natal charts, and other predictive methods to ascertain not only your personality type but also the image of a potential spouse, as well as general compatibility, etc. However, there are others those who rely not on astrological signs, but on their biological traits. The concept of “blood type personality types” is especially popular in Korea where many believe that different blood types correspond to various personality traits that might affect a person’s personality, attractiveness, love compatibility, and even health. The history of the theory’s development, its flaws, and any potential links between blood type and personality will all be examined in the study that is being presented.
