Diversity of Orchid Species in South Bukit Barisan National Park, Sekincau Resort, West Lampung

Bukit Barisan holds thousands of species of flora including orchids. However, the existence of orchid species in nature is not widely known. There needs to be exploration and identification regarding the existence of orchid species. The purpose of this study is to identify the types of orchids that grow in the Bukit Barisan Selatan Resort Sekincau National Park area. The method used is the exploration method, the data is analyzed descriptively regarding morphology, way of life and environmental conditions. The results showed that 32 species of orchids were found belonging to 17 genera with habitats growing epiphytic, saprophytic and terrestrial. The environment where it grows is dominated by a humid environment with little sunlight.
