Analysis shows non-vanishing result of Rankin–Selberg L-functions at central point, indicating deep connections in number theory.
In this paper, we obtain an asymptotic formula for the average of Rankin–Selberg convolutions [Formula: see text] by using the GL(3) Kuznetsov trace formula. Here [Formula: see text] is a fixed Hecke–Maass cusp form for [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] runs over an orthonormal basis of the space of Hecke–Maass cusp forms for [Formula: see text]. This implies the non-vanishing result of these [Formula: see text]-functions at the central point.
