This approach reduces sub/supersynchronous oscillation in power systems with DFIG, indicating that renewables' interaction energy is crucial.
With the development of high proportion of renewables and high proportion of power electronics in the power system, sub/supersynchronous oscillation in doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) has become one of the important problems for the stability and new energy accommodation of the power system. Aiming at the problem of sub/supersynchronous oscillation of DFIG, this paper proposes a coordinated oscillation suppression strategy considering the influence of wind farm interaction energy. Firstly, the dynamic energy model of DFIG considering the interaction between units is established. The dynamic energy modelling is carried out from two aspects of single machine and unit interaction, and the oscillation characteristics are analysed. Secondly, the pelican optimisation algorithm is used to coordinate the oscillation suppression at the single machine and unit interaction aspects, and the coordinated oscillation suppression strategy aiming at the sub/supersynchronous oscillation of DFIG is realised. Finally, the simulation of the sub/supersynchronous oscillation in DFIG is set up to verify the effectiveness of the coordinated oscillation suppression strategy proposed in this paper. Simulation results demonstrate that the suppression effect of the proposed strategy is more stable and faster than previous methods which adopt the single method and ignore the interaction energy between the units.
