This research demonstrates how aesthetic motivation impacts tourist satisfaction in cultural attractions, suggesting policymakers can promote sustainable tourism growth.
This study explores factors influencing tourist satisfaction and revisit intention at historical and cultural attractions, which are crucial for heritage and tourism development. Using push-pull theory, a model was tested through structural equation modeling. Results show that aesthetic motivation and cost-benefit analysis positively impact both satisfaction and revisit intention. While historical and cultural motivation and service value enhance satisfaction, they don't directly affect revisit intention; satisfaction mediates this. Leisure and entertainment motivation has no effect, but functional value significantly boosts revisit intention. These findings offer insights for policymakers to support sustainable tourism growth.
