This analysis reveals performance gaps in supply chain management and financial outcomes, suggesting improved operational performance through efficient green technology practices.
This study identifies six perspectives and 18 key factors in the green technology portfolio for manufacturing firms. A hybrid multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) model, incorporating the Best-Worst Method (BWM), is employed to determine the strategic importance (weights) of each factor, revealing that cost, energy efficiency, frequency of maintenance, and equipment cost are the most influential. Subsequently, the VIKOR method is applied to evaluate performance shortfalls relative to aspiration levels in financial outcomes and supply chain management. The largest performance gaps are observed in environmental outcomes concerning financial targets and in time efficiency within supply chain operations. These findings provide critical insights for prioritizing green technology practices and offer valuable managerial implications for stakeholders aiming to enhance environmental and operational performance within the manufacturing sector.
