Meta-analysis highlights the role of patient satisfaction and working conditions in hospital attractiveness for healthcare professionals.
Summary: The Moroccan hospital system is undergoing a profound transformation, driven by the need to adapt to an evolving healthcare environment characterized by increasing population demands, technological progress, and a focus on patient-centred care. This transformation encompasses structural reforms aimed at elevating service quality and enhancing the accessibility of care delivery. However, this change faces significant challenges, particularly in the optimal management of human resources, which is essential to ensuring quality, safety, and continuity of care. Prioritizing these areas is a strategic lever to meet patient expectations and strengthen the health system's resilience. This is why the attractiveness of hospitals is so closely tied to the satisfaction of both staff and patients. Our study uses a Meta analysis systematic review to explore the contribution of the magnet hospital model to Moroccan public hospitals while proposing an adapted model. Indeed, so-called 'magnet' hospitals are renowned for combining high-performance outcomes, working conditions deemed favorable by healthcare professionals, high-quality and safe care, and satisfied patients. Consequently, an attractiveness model tailored to Moroccan hospitals can, in the context of an unprecedented dynamic, engage healthcare professionals as active participants in creating a work environment that enables them to reach their full potential, fosters their commitment to the institution, fosters a stimulating and engaging atmosphere, and meets the objectives of quality care and services through continuous organizational learning and adaptation.
