Review highlights training for improving peer feedback quality in college students, suggesting enhanced outcomes for group projects.
Peer feedback is a valuable educational tool, and employers highly value graduates' abilities to give and receive constructive feedback. Effective training is essential for students to offer high-quality feedback and understand how to apply the feedback. This paper reviews literature on peer feedback practices and introduces a training intervention designed to prepare college students to use the CATME instrument, aiming to improve feedback quality in group capstone projects. The intervention includes both a synchronous face-to-face training session and an asynchronous e-learning module. The designs and results are discussed along with future implementation plans.
