Case report demonstrates effective excision of pleomorphic adenoma in parapharyngeal space, highlighting transoral technique utility.
Transoral approach to parapharyngeal space (PPS) tumors is a minimally invasive technique. However, its utility is limited to a few carefully selected cases. Adjunct techniques may assist in improved application of this approach and enhance its versatility. Here a case of pleomorphic adenoma of PPS is described, whose excision was facilitated by unconventional use of an Alexis ring retractor.
