Reaction reveals functionalized thioalkenyl amides synthesis from thiophenols and N-arylpropiolamides, highlighting transition-metal-free efficiency.
Herein, a Cs 2 CO 3 ‐promoted hydrothiolation of N‐arylpropiolamides with thiophenols has been accomplished. A series of substituted N ‐arylpropiolamides and thiophenols participated smoothly in this reaction, affording various functionalized thioalkenyl amides in moderate to good yields under transition‐metal‐free conditions. This method features a broad substrate scope and operational simplicity.
