Field research highlights cultural heritage and historical identity in Temska, suggesting strategic development to improve quality of life in rural areas.
The Study was primarily prepared for the purpose of the general regulation plan of Temska, but its scope is thematically broader and can serve as a basis for initiating and developing many other activities that would significantly change the attitude towards cultural heritage. Also, the strategic development of selected inherited and acquired values, based on a unique special cultural and historical identity, would contribute to the general improvement of the quality of life in a rural area such as Temska. Temska has an enviable number of inhabitants and the capacity to develop independently, but also to contribute to the development of the entire area, as well as other smaller settlements in the surrounding area, on Stara planina. Field research was carried out in April and July 2022 for the purpose of developing the Study.
