Radical allylation improves synthesis of fluoroalkyl sulfonamides using allyl bromides, suggesting efficiency in alkene introduction.
Allylation reactions are essential for the introduction of alkene functionalities into molecules, and radical allylation reactions serve as a powerful strategy to achieve this. Of the various known allylating reagents, allyl bromides offer a particularly direct and efficient approach to allylation. Here, we report the radical allylation of vinyl perfluorocyclic sulfonamides using allyl bromides, which leads to the synthesis of allylated fluoroalkyl sulfonamides.
