ABSTRACT This paper presents an isolated high step‐up gain DC–DC converter that combines switched‐inductor units with an isolated converter topology. By integrating a switched‐inductors based front‐end boost circuit and employing a pulse width modulation strategy, the converter achieves significant improvement in both voltage gain and input voltage adaptability without requiring additional switching devices. It accommodates input voltage fluctuations of over ±40% from the rated value, making it well‐suited for applications such as integrating fuel cells or photovoltaic systems into DC microgrids. A 1 kW experimental prototype was developed to validate converter performance. Test results show that the converter maintains a stable 540 V output from a 28–60 V input and achieves a peak efficiency of 95.7%.
