Research demonstrates enhanced data security and integrity in IoT devices, suggesting improved protection for smart manufacturing and healthcare.
As Internet of Things technology rapidly develops, devices operating in open, portable, trusted execution environments are at risk of data leakage, tampering, and key loss. This research proposes a data security protection system that operates within an open, portable, trusted execution environment and uses national commercial cryptographic algorithms to address these risks. The system uses national commercial cryptographic algorithms (SM2, SM3, and SM4) to encrypt and authenticate data links and keys end‐to‐end. It also constructs a four‐level key lifecycle management mechanism that consists of trusted firmware and a trusted platform module. Compared with traditional protection methods, the data corruption value was reduced from 0.41 to 0.27, the data fusion degree reached a maximum of 90%, and data integrity and anti‐tampering capabilities were improved by approximately 8% and 10%, respectively. The results demonstrate that the proposed security protection system effectively enhances data confidentiality and reliability in IoT environments. It can be applied to high‐security scenarios, such as smart manufacturing, smart healthcare, and energy.
