Knowledge management plays a pivotal role in the construction industry, contributing to improved performance and project outcomes. Their inflexibility in adopting the latest management techniques results in a decrease in productivity and performance, particularly in terms of time, cost, quality, and safety. This study aims to examine how knowledge management contributes to minimizing poor productivity on construction performance. By reviewing existing literature and industry practices, this paper seeks to provide insights into how effective knowledge management can lead to enhanced construction performance. Following qualitative study, this research conducts 37 interviews from construction experts on the importance of knowledge management in improving productivity performance. It was concluded that sharing knowledge management has a positive impact on productivity performance. The study suggests that construction experts should receive sufficient government and management support to implement effective knowledge management practices, leading to improved productivity and performance in project construction and delivery.
