Injury and near miss case reports conducted in the last 1 year in the engineering department there were 8 near miss cases and injuries that resulted in lost workdays due to the use of PPE, the results of the preliminary study found that 7 workers knew that personal protective equipment must be used when working, workers stated that supervision of the use of PPE was not carried out properly, 6 workers stated that there was no enforcement to workers who did not comply with the use of PPE and 5 workers stated that the reprimand given by HSE was not firm only verbally. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and supervision of PPE use behavior in technicians in Building X Jakarta in 2020. The research method used was a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were technicians in Building X with a sample size of 37 people. Using the NonProbability Sampling method. Data collection was carried out with questionnaires and observation sheets to samples containing 10 questions related to SOP knowledge and 10 statements related to supervision perceptions. Data analysis was carried out, namely Validity Test, Reliability Test, Normality Test and Univariate Analysis to see the frequency distribution of each variable and Bivariate Analysis to see the relationship between the dependent and independent variables. The results of bivariate analysis showed that the knowledge variable had a p-value = 0.000 (<0.05), the supervision variable had a p-value = 0.000 (<0.05). The conclusion is that there is a significant relationship between knowledge and supervision of the behavior of using PPE on technicians in Building X Jakarta in 2025. It is recommended that the department socialize SOP PPE regularly to technicians and increase supervision of workers on the use of PPE.
