The settling time is an important performance index for microgrid control systems. In this paper, a distributed secondary voltage control protocol with delay compensation is designed using a fixed-time consensus algorithm and Artstein model reduction method. Besides, by using extreme value theory and reduction to absurdity, a new theorem of fixed-time stability is established, and a more accurate and less conservative time bound settling of estimation is first derived. Some valuable conclusions considering the delay compensation and switching communication topologies' effects are also provided. Finally, the correctness of our derived theoretical results has been verified in MATLAB/Simulink.
