The Acta Universi (AUfield) 2025 hypothesis and string theory are two attempts to describe the fundamental nature of reality. String theory aims at a "theory of everything" through vibrating strings in 10-11 dimensions. Acta Universi offers a dynamic archive of events in 4D space-time, where dark energy is stored entropy. The comparison shows that AUfield is simpler (without extra dimensions), falsifiable (15 predictions for 2026-2040), and integrates consciousness/cognition, which string theory does not do. This is not competition, but complementarity: AUfield as the "information shell" of string geometry.
