This paper explores the experiences of two undergraduate psychology students who completed a placement year within Camden Learning Disabilities Service (CLDS). They reflect on how clinical, peer and systemic supervision influenced their understanding of clinical psychology. Their reflections highlight personal and professional growth, increased understanding of the experiences of people with learning disabilities, and insights into working within a multidisciplinary team. Based on these experiences, the paper aims to help future placement students develop a clearer understanding of supervision and the dynamics of learning disability teams, enhancing their placement experience.
