Technical documentation for the "MEGALODON" Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV), developed by the OI ROV team from Obour Higher Institute for the MATE ROV Competition 2025. This report details the engineering design and manufacturing processes, including: Mechanical System: A modular frame made of ARTELON (HDPE) for neutral buoyancy, stainless steel electronics enclosure for 50-bar pressure resistance, and a 6-thruster configuration (Blue Robotics T200) for 6-DOF maneuverability. Electrical System: Transition from Arduino Mega to ESP32 microcontroller for enhanced performance and Wi-Fi capabilities, custom PCB designs for power distribution (48V system), and sensor integration (IMU MPU6050, leakage, and pressure sensors). Software System: A dual-layer architecture featuring a Python/Qt-based GUI for the pilot and C++ firmware for the ROV, incorporating PID control for stability and OpenCV for vision tasks
