The family setting plays a foundational role in shaping children’s emotional and psychologicaldevelopment, especially during adolescence—a stage marked by rapid transitions. The present studyexamines the role of home environment on psychological wellbeing among 100 school-goingadolescents (aged 14–18 years) from English-medium schools in Udaipur district. The standardizedversion of the Family Environment Scale (Moos adapted by Joshi & Vyas) and a PsychologicalWellbeing Scale were administered. Statistical analysis included descriptive statistics, correlation,ANOVA, and linear regression. Results indicated a significant positive relationship between homeenvironment and psychological wellbeing (r = .38, p < .01). ANOVA showed a significant effect of homeenvironment on wellbeing (F = 7.39, p < .01). Regression analysis revealed that home environmentsignificantly predicts psychological wellbeing (β = .24, p < .01). The null hypothesis—stating that thehome environment has no significant role—was rejected. Findings emphasize the importance ofnurturing, structured, and supportive home environments in promoting adolescents’ psychologicalwellbeing.
