This short conceptual note clarifies why runaway gravitational collapse is rarely observed in nature across astrophysical systems. Within Wilhoite Scaling Theory (WST), also known as Geometric Scaling Fields (GSF), extreme mass concentration raises geometric stress in the scaling field, making unchecked collapse energetically disfavored. This provides a unified explanation for fragmentation, accretion saturation, disk persistence, and core formation without invoking fine-tuned feedback prescriptions.
