This short conceptual note clarifies how interacting binary systems (“vampire stars”) are interpreted within Wilhoite Scaling Theory (WST), also known as Geometric Scaling Fields (GSF). Mass transfer is described as a field-regulated relaxation process that minimizes geometric stress in a shared scaling field, naturally explaining the stability, saturation, and longevity of such systems. This note is interpretive in scope and does not replace detailed stellar-evolution or accretion modeling. This note is formulated within the Wilhoite Geometric Scaling Framework as defined in Wilhoite (2025), Zenodo, DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.17973193.
