Within the applications of indices like just noticeable difference, while speaking of color perception we need to consider three measuring units for color perception i.e, hue, brightness and saturation where, hue is for subtle changes within darkness and within human vision brighter colors always needs larger changes to be noticed and saturation implies to indices like just noticeable difference(JND) which quantify smaller differences in human vision. Moreover identifying darker hues within human perception is most challenging than JND's work proportion.
