A geophysical survey detects magnetic anomalies in potential archaeological features, indicating historical significance.
An area of 2.9ha was surveyed using two cart-mounted Bartington Grad601-2 fluxgate gradiometers. A small number of magnetic anomalies were detected which may indicate the presence of potential archaeological features, in the form of a number of linear and curvilinear anomalies, with the latter possibly representing cut features such as ring ditches or ring gullies of Bronze Age or Iron Age date.
