This research investigates the intersection of biotechnology, ethics, and theology, specifically focusing on how age, religion, and geographic background shape public acceptance of CRISPR-based gene editing for Congenital Heart Diseases (CHD).Drawing on a global dataset of 500 survey responses across 70 countries, the study analyzes patterns in technological trust, moral reasoning, and reproductive decision-making. Key findings include:• Generational Divides: Younger respondents (Gen Z and Millennials) express significantly higher support for therapeutic gene editing and greater ethical flexibility than older demographics.• Religious Influence: Religious affiliation remains a strong predictor of attitudes, with Muslim and Christian participants exhibiting higher caution regarding "divine will" compared to atheist or agnostic respondents.• Geographic Trends: Results indicate higher acceptance in Western regions linked to scientific literacy, while South Asian and Middle Eastern regions reflect more conservative, faith-aligned positions.By integrating biomedical literature on CHD-related mutations (such as TBX5 and GATA4) with socio-cultural data, this paper highlights the necessity of a "localized" approach to bioethics. It argues that for CRISPR to be globally viable, scientific advancement must be reconciled with diverse cultural and religious frameworks.
