Abstract
S3, a thiosemicarbazone ligand, functions as a pH-orthogonal UV-Vis chemosensor for Fe 3+ and Ag + . Dual blue/yellow responses at pH 10 and 4 give sub-ppm detection in aqueous media with high sensitivity.
