( E )- N ′-(4-(Dimethylamino)benzylidene) isonicotinohydrazide (HL) ligand with bidentate O, N-donor configuration and its coordination complexes with Zn( ii ), Cd( ii ), and Pt( ii ) metal centers were synthesized.
