An investigation of information leakage recognizability of register write operation through side-channel power channels using FPGA

Physical principles of power consumption sources in modern digital CMOS circuits are investigated. The technique of detecting edges of chip power consumption during the process of data write operation to the FPGA register is developed. Various approaches of software processing of measurement results are considered in order to accurately determine the correspondence between groups of curves for different Hamming weights in chip.
