Cloud computing has become a central component of modern enterprise IT strategies; however, indiscriminate migration of systems to the cloud introduces security, operational, and governance risks. This research examines applied cloud adoption models from an enterprise IT perspective, focusing on evaluation, administration, and integration of cloud-based platforms such as Microsoft 365 and ERP services, while retaining business-critical systems on internal infrastructure. The study emphasizes decision criteria, security considerations, and governance controls necessary for sustainable cloud adoption in enterprise environments.
