Abstract This article looks at posthumanism and the humanist plane of immanence. Deleuze and Guattari’s theory of assemblages and bodies without organs points to potentialities within the mind to procure means to reach beyond the borders of humanist and capitalist thought toward an outside that can be posthuman. As such, it focuses on the opportunities opened by the psychedelics as a catalyst to explore the unconscious, while playing with the figure of Hellraiser’s Cenobites as templates from which to create the assemblage of an explorer that allows desire-production to flow in the most creative methods, outside the boundaries of conservative planes of immanence. It concludes by bringing the two topics together as it philosophizes on its meaning within posthumanist discourse.
