This study systematically maps 13 traditional Chinese shoulder dislocation reduction techniques from seven primary trauma classics (dating from the 12th to 19th century) against seven major Western orthopedic methods. The research demonstrates that complete mechanical correspondence exists between all Chinese techniques and Western archetypes such as traction, leverage, gravity, and rotation. Notably, ten of the Chinese methods predate their Western equivalents by 50 to 700 years. The paper proposes a unified classification framework to enable future cross-cultural orthopedic research and clinical translation.
